
Meet Our Founder & CEO Kristy Marrow, MSW, ACSW, CATC IV Kristy Marrow is the Founder and CEO of New Leases on Life, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families heal, rebuild, and thrive after life’s most difficult challenges. Her passion for serving others is rooted in her own life experiences. Having overcome significant personal challenges, Kristy understands firsthand that healing, hope, and transformation are possible. Her journey inspired her to dedicate her life to helping others discover that no matter where they have been, they can create a brighter future. Kristy earned a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science with a concentration in Ethnic Studies from the University of La Verne and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from California Baptist University. She is an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) and a Certified Addiction Treatment Counselor IV (CATC IV). Her professional training also includes certification as an Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) Advocate through the YWCA San Gabriel Valley and Facilitator Certification through A Window Between Worlds (AWBW), equipping her to provide trauma-informed, healing-centered support to individuals, families, and communities. Throughout her career, Kristy has worked alongside individuals facing mental health challenges, substance use disorders, trauma, homelessness, and intimate partner violence. She is committed to empowering people through advocacy, education, clinical support, and community-based services that promote resilience, recovery, and lasting change. As a respected leader, mentor, and advocate, Kristy combines professional expertise with lived experience to develop programs that inspire hope, restore confidence, and strengthen communities. Under her leadership, New Leases on Life provides compassionate, person-centered services designed to help individuals and families overcome barriers, embrace healing, and build sustainable pathways to success. Guided by the organization’s mission to Heal. Empower. Thrive., Kristy believes that everyone deserves a second chance, access to meaningful support, and the opportunity to reach their fullest potential. Her vision is to restore lives, strengthen families, and create lasting change—one person, one family, and one community at a time.
